Deputation is nothing but the process of terminating the employees from their original position to the parent post in the various departments. Deputation Absorption Vacancies in Central Government Department
The deputation period starts when the government servant takes charge of a particular post and it will be continued and gets resumed by him/her. The servants of government will be on leave at the time of deputation is assumed as they are outside of India. The occupied working period is known as the deputation period. The pay scale for the employers in the deputation pattern will be paid the same as that of the parent post the same DA is applied and pay is fixed under fundamental and normal rules.

This type of deputation lasts for five years. After the deputation period, the employee can move to their parent job position and he will be having the benefit to choose the promotion in either of the departments.
